Dr. Luque reaches milestone of 50 peer-reviewed publications

Since I started my post-PhD journey in 2006, thanks to my many colleagues and friends over the past decade, my article list has reached 50 peer-reviewed publications. What is most surprising to me is which articles have reached the most citations. For example, our article on biobanking perceptions, published in the Journal of Cancer Education, is very highly cited. This was a research area I didn’t really know much about, but our team at Moffitt was fortunate to receive a small supplement grant from NCI to conduct. Another surprising experience is how some articles are accepted with very little revisions required while others may languish in peer review for a year and then require major revisions! Such is the business we are in. Visit the tab on Publications to see the latest accepted publications.
